We are extremely honored to announce that His Holiness Jigdal Dagchen Sakya Rinpoche (Dagchen Rinpoche) and Her Eminence Dagmo Kusho Sakya (Dagmo Kusho) will be blessing us this summer with spiritual teachings, initiations and retreat in Sacramento, the capitol of California, on the weekend of July 24th-27th, 2009. All are welcome to attend. The retreat will include Chenrezi, Medicine Buddha, and Green Tara initiations and teachings.

His Holiness Jigdal Dagchen Sakya is the Head Lama of Sakya Monastery of Tibetan Buddhism. Raised and trained as a Head Lama of the Sakya sect, Dagchen Rinpoche holds a position third only to His Holiness the Dalai Lama in rank.

Her Eminence Dagmo Kusho Sakya, known as Dagmo Kusho, is one of the few foremost female Tibetan Buddhist teachers in the West. Dagmo Kusho is authorized to accept the role of teacher by the foremost Tibetan Buddhist Masters of the Sakya Order and by other esteemed Tibetan Lamas.
